The Fischoff Competition is at the core of Fischoff's mission and provides the foundation for all of its other programs. Musicians gather from across the country to compete for awards and to learn from world-class judges. Many Fischoff ensembles have gone on to win GRAMMY Awards, some having won multiple. Your support ensures the continuation of the Fischoff Competition, providing opportunities for growth to musicians and creating a pipeline of ensembles to make a positive impact on the national scale.

Every year, Fischoff introduces local students in our community to top-quality musicians from the Fischoff Competition. Through various education programs, Fischoff focuses on nurturing the talents of thousands of young students and enriching their lives through interactions with musicians who were once students like them. At one of Fischoff's partner schools, the band director expressed the excitement of his students at a Fischoff ensemble coming to perform and answer questions: "Just a few years ago they were asking me 'What is Fischoff?', and now they can hardly wait until it's Fischoff Day!"

One of Fischoff's programs encourages literacy in young students by pairing books with music performances. Following a performance, a teacher expressed how every single one of their students passed the Accelerated Reader test for the chosen book - an unprecedented success.

As an extension of Fischoff's local programs, the musicians who participate are provided with the skills to continue and expand the outreach into their own communities nationwide. One of Fischoff's recent Art-in-Education winners, WindSync, has taken the performance they perfected over the course of the Residency back to bookstores in their Texas community.

Since 1995, Fischoff's education programs have reached nearly 100,000 local students. As Giving Tuesday nears, your support ensures Fischoff is able to continue impacting lives well into the future. Thank you for being a vital part of the beginning of many musical journeys!
